On the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight of 1848-1849, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács laid a wreath of remembrance at the grave of Lajos Kossuth's mother, Mrs. Lászlóné Kossuth, in the Saint-Josse-ten Noode cemetery. At the solemn commemoration, we could hear the blessing given by Father István Havas and Kossuth songs performed by musician Tamás Zsári.

They had a great exchange of views on current EU and bilateral dossiers, focusing mainly on the upcoming Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the diplomatic centennial of Hungary and Luxembourg, both due in 2024.
