Following previous traditions and respecting the epidemiological measures, Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács with PSC Ambassador Bálint Ódor laid a wreath of remembrance at the monument of the mother of Lajos Kossuth in Brussels.

Constructive discussion between Deputy State Secretary for the Development of European Relations, József Magyar and Director General for Bilateral Affairs, Anick Van Calster. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and the Ambassador of Belgium to Hungary, Siegfried Peinen also joined the virtual event. The topics reviewed: state of play of bilateral relations, Hungarian V4 Presidency, Belgian Presidency of the Benelux Union and matters of common interest, e.g. Western Balkans and migration.
Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács had a great discussion with the Deputy Chiefs of Mission of the US Embassy Brussels and the US EU Mission, Nicholas Berliner and Mark Libby, on issues of common interest. They touched upon among others the Hungarian-US bilateral relations, the EU enlargement and the Hungarian V4 Presidency starting in July.
