Hungarian creative industry business delegation presentations

Between 18 and 20 September, the Foreign Economic Office of the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, as the consortium leader of the Enterprise Europe Network organized a creative industry and "smart city" business delegation that took place at the House of Hungary in Brussels, under the auspices of Brussels Design September. The delegation was received by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and Ms. Dorottya Bősze, Head of Commercial and Trade Section.

Visit at the new President of the Senate

On 24 September, H.E. Valerie De Bue, the new President of the Belgian Senate, received H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral Belgian-Hungarian relations and exchanged views on current affairs, including the Hungarian EU Presidency program of our Embassy.

Hungarian headstone in Kasterlee

On 26 July, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács, in the company of Dorottya Bősze, Head of Commercial Section, visited Kasterlee in Flanders, where a headstone which symbolizes the 25-year friendship between Kasterlee and Nyárádszentbenedek, was inaugurated in 2016. They were received by Mayor Ward Kennes.

12. meeting of the Hungarian-Flemish Joint Committee

The twelfth meeting of the Hungarian-Flemish Joint Committee took place on 13 June at the Errera House in Brussels, where Mr. Miklós Lengyel, Deputy State Secretary for Training, Scholarships and Science Diplomacy and Julie Bynens, Secretary General of the Flemish Chancellery and Foreign Affairs Office signed the working plan for the years 2024-2026. The meeting was also attended by H.E. Ambassador dr. Tamás Iván Kovács and Dorottya Bősze, Head of Commercial Section.

Concert series of the Budapest Festival Orchestra in Brugge

The Budapest Festival Orchestra performed a series of concerts at the Concertgebouw in Bruges from 5 to 7 June, featuring works by Handel, Stravinsky and Brahms, conducted by Iván Fischer. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács attended the concert on 7 June, after which he invited the members of the Budapest Festival Orchestra for a short reception.
